This story is about alien eggs that lost their way and found themselves on planet Earth.
The object is to challenge children to collect them and help them hatch in order to return
them to their "Color Planet". Our motivation in this design process- with all its forms along the way is based on 3 simple concepts:

Curiosity Birth Surprise
Research - locating opportunities
The research in this project focused on 2 aspects - observations and material research.
In order to make objective observation we delivered the components without explaining the process in order to see if the game attractive, intriguing and self explanatory to which group age its belongs and determined what the right dimensions.

In the material research we explored chemical reactions and molding based on bath bomb which is not toxic, based on eatable materials and not harm the skin and can easily can be colored.

Research conclusions
-
The floating of the alien creates an act of surprise
-
The game suitable for the age 6 and above
-
Accurate the duration of the hatching (1-1.5min)
-
The container should fit for a kid hand
-
The dimensions of the aliens inside the eggs
-
Integrate the missile in process - the lid for pouring the exact amount of water and create a spot to attach the alien.
Ideation - configurations and shaping
We based our aliens on the DNA scheme of a soft body out of which emerge the limbs with the decision to present three different types of aliens: The simpleton, The troublemaker and the tough one.

We chose to use unique sets of lines and colors to support the preconceived characters of each of the aliens. The different colors and the "wet finish" glossy plastic are meant to be in harmony with the water and thereby be integrated into the process of the hatching.
